Has anyone succesfully given a W8-BEN to their employer? I work for a massive chain and they won’t accept the “not required to firnish a TIN”, so they have a W4 on file for me, and the status correction method is being ignored by the IRS. I read Dave Champion’s book, but the only thing stated about my situation was “don’t give them a TIN”, not an option….

Whats up guys, havent filed since 2022…after setting up my trust. However im in kind of a difficult position, i have a loan with a bank for a rental property and theyre demanding i send them my tax returns or they call the loan due. I’ve already notified them of the trust and they still accepted payments. Just not sure if i need to do it now…

Hello,

I am preparing to file 2025. I have only used CTC to file an amended return so I feel like I am starting from scratch.

As well as, I have never filled my tax return for my S-CORP, my accountant always did that. Any advice??

Is it basically the same thing I did for the amended return, but not amended…it’s the actual return!😅

The IRS received my returns on April 6th and they are still in process. They sent me a letter asking for 1099s and w2s for my 2025 return and i sent them. Hopefully that wasn’t a mistake. I haven’t heard a word from them. When I check the IRS sight it says they are all in process still. Wow oh wow. It appears they do what ever they want.

Hello All, I amended 2022 – 2025 almost four months ago. I have not received any letters at all. Per my transcript for each year it says

971 Amended tax return or claim forwarded for processing Amount 0.00

977 Amended return filed 0.00 both dated 4/10/26

Does this mean they processed it and are finished with it? or they have not done anything at…

I received two letters for the same year which is 12/2024 so not sure why both letters for the same year but here are the snippets from the letters of all 3 pages

Did any one received anything like this before ? and what to reply now is the question I have? Should I file an appeal in the federal claims court as well ?
