        Home School Resources

        Hillsdale College Online Courses (free)
        https://online.hillsdale.edu/
The clearest match. Self-paced lecture courses from Hillsdale professors, including Constitution 101: The Meaning and History of the Constitution and Economics 101: The Principles of Free Market Economics. The frame is natural rights, limited government, consent of the governed, and a direct critique of progressive reinterpretations of the founding. Widely used by homeschool families as a high-school civics or economics spine. No government funding; the college refuses taxpayer money.

        Ron Paul Curriculum
        https://www.ronpaulcurriculum.com/
A full K–12 online program built around the freedom philosophy. Self-taught, video-based, reading- and writing-heavy. It covers the usual subjects plus government, personal finance, and business, and presents itself as a systematic defense of limited government and free markets rather than a public-school sequence.

        Bill of Rights Institute (free)
        https://billofrightsinstitute.org/homeschooling-resources/
Primary-source curricula such as Documents of Freedom and Government and Politics: Civics for the American Experiment. Lessons use the Federalist Papers, Madison’s notes, and constitutional text, organized around consent of the governed, inalienable rights, and civic virtue. Designed for homeschool as well as classroom use.

        Notgrass Exploring Government
        https://notgrass.com/
A one-semester Christian high-school course built around the founding documents themselves, with a primary-source reader. Conservative and open-and-go; often paired with their economics course.

        Boundary Stone
        https://boundarystone.org/
Basic American Government and Basic Economics, written from a natural-law, limited-government, free-market view. Semester-length and built for homeschool or co-op use.

Stars & Stripes / The 28 Principles of Liberty
        https://www.starsandstripeshistory.com/
Family and co-op curriculum drawn from the founding principles in Cleon Skousen’s The 5,000 Year Leap. Aimed at teaching the Constitution as a set of liberty principles rather than as a civics textbook summary.

The Homeschool Resource Roadmap is still useful here because its charts include worldview and Common Core stance, so you can screen providers before you buy: https://www.homeschoolroadmap.org/

Hillsdale and the Bill of Rights Institute are the easiest free starting points if you want Constitution- and freedom-oriented content without adopting a full packaged curriculum.

        Saylor Academy

        https://www.saylor.org/
        Course catalog: https://learn.saylor.org/

Saylor Academy is a nonprofit that has offered free, self-paced online courses since 2008. It is the main project of the Constitution Foundation, a 501(c)(3) founded by Michael J. Saylor. The catalog has 150+ full-length courses at the college and professional level — business, computer science, history, political science, economics, writing, and more — built from open textbooks and other free materials.

There is no tuition and no instructor. You work on your own schedule and can earn a free digital certificate. A subset of courses is recommended for college credit by the American Council on Education; the only fee for those is about $5 to proctor the final exam, after which credit can transfer to partner colleges. Homeschool families often use the courses for high-school credit or as a low-cost path to college credit.

        HomeTrail

        https://hometrail.net/homeschooling-resources
About 19,840 listings across the U.S. — co-ops, classes, field trips, curriculum, microschools, and community groups — organized by state, city, and category. Includes a Virtual Learning section for online classes that aren’t tied to one location. Browsing is free.

        The Homeschool Source
        https://thehomeschoolsource.com/
Free, parent-built directory for all 50 states. Compare curricula by subject, approach, cost, and parent reviews, plus state-law summaries and a local finder for co-ops, tutors, and enrichment classes.

        Cathy Duffy Reviews
        https://cathyduffyreviews.com/
Long-running review site (since the 1980s) with 1,000+ independent curriculum reviews. Filter by subject, grade, approach, and learning style; includes a free learning-styles questionnaire.

Also useful: Every Homeschool (https://everyhomeschool.com/) for publisher and method comparisons, and eSchooled’s online-programs list for secular vs. Christian all-in-one platforms.

These cover both packaged curricula and course-style options (self-paced, live virtual, hybrid). Local co-ops are usually listed by state or city on the same sites, or through your state homeschool organization. Prices and details change, so confirm enrollment and accreditation with the provider.
