Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven and hands-on General Manager – Operations & Revenue to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing business with energy and expertise. This is not a corporate management role. In this pivotal position, you will own execution across all operational functions, drive revenue performance, ensure the team delivers consistently, and turn strategy into measurable results. You will work closely with the founder and leadership team, and your ability to manage people, processes, and performance will be instrumental in scaling The Freedom People to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of day-to-day business operations, ensuring systems, processes, and playbooks are followed with consistency and precision.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and elevate overall business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, operational protocols, and quality benchmarks across all departments and functions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to translate strategic objectives into actionable operational plans with clear timelines and deliverables.

Revenue Performance

  • Monitor and drive monthly revenue targets, sales performance, and key financial metrics to ensure the business hits its goals every period.
  • Track pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and activity levels across revenue-generating functions, providing data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue streams, including sales growth initiatives, promotional activities, and process optimization.
  • Identify performance gaps early and take swift corrective action to maintain momentum and protect the bottom line.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, manage, mentor, and evaluate internal team members, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability and excellence.
  • Ensure every team member understands expectations, has clarity on their role, and delivers strong execution against defined KPIs.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and development conversations to support staff growth and address underperformance promptly.
  • Build a motivated, aligned team environment where ownership and initiative are recognized and rewarded.

Reporting & Metrics

  • Track, analyze, and report on weekly and monthly business metrics, providing leadership with clear visibility into operational and financial performance.
  • Deliver timely performance updates, highlighting operational risks, emerging opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting systems to ensure data accuracy and accessibility for decision-making at all levels.

  • Revenue targets are consistently achieved or exceeded month over month.
  • The team understands expectations, operates with accountability, and delivers strong results.
  • Operational processes are followed, measured, and continuously improved.
  • Leadership has clear, real-time visibility into business performance and can make informed decisions with confidence.

What This Role Is Not

This role is not focused on developing corporate strategy. Strategy is set by the founder and leadership team. The General Manager is responsible for executing the plan, managing the team, and ensuring the business performs at the highest level every day.

Requirements & Ideal Experience

  • Proven management experience running operations in a small or mid-sized business, with a track record of driving measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of revenue metrics, sales pipelines, conversion tracking, and financial performance indicators.
  • Demonstrated success in managing teams, conducting performance reviews, and driving accountability in fast-paced environments.
  • Process-oriented and systems-minded, with the ability to build, follow, and improve operational playbooks.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple functions, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills for leading team meetings, conducting training sessions, interviewing candidates, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment and thriving under pressure with minimal hand-holding.

Compensation

Base Salary: $75,000 + performance incentives tied to business results.

On-Target Earnings: Above $100,000 annually.
