NEED HELP: EIN # for my Foreign Express Trust ?????
I didn’t want to pay an additional $950 for my foreign EIN #. My friend in Portugal agreed to make the call for me. He has spent nearly 30 hours on hold for many many weeks now, sometimes on hold for 3-4 hours. He got through once & was given an outside of the US # to call. Same issue there.

but they don’t seem to be adhering to the Ca. record request

Successful refunds?
Is anyone actually getting their refunds sent to them? I have 2 in progress and 1 is now over 1 year old. I cannot even get a response from the “frivolous dept”. I have done everything correctly and thoroughly and I get no responses now. All sent certified mail but they just don’t seem to care. I submitted a complaint with Taxpayer…

Hi Phil, I am in the same boat. I submitted 6 last Feb/March. 3 for me, 3 for my husband. He received one and that was it. I have received multiple letters since, one recently denying 2023 and they are telling me I can take them to court if I wish

Really? The letter said they would not process it and to take to court? Would you share this letter. Maybe CTC doesn’t work anymore?
