How to Handle Crypto 1099-DA
Howdy All,
I’m almost done with this year’s 1040 for 2025 following the CTC process. I just got an email about a crypto transaction I forgot about. How do we handle the 1099-DA for the 1040? I made $29. Do I add it to the Jurat Rebuttal and just zero out the gains like the 1099-INT?

I completed the CTC course this time last year, received a big refund check plus interest and paid $0 last year. We’re at that time again this year where I would love to just send NOTHING and have the IRS forget I exist. Love hearing these stories! I will be completing the CTC course and plan to file in the next few weeks. I do also have lots of Crypto transactions and would be interested in hearing more about those recommendations. Thanks!
