      What i found out. The DBA filing is the same as Assumed Name Certificate.

      The typical use of DBA are for solo business owners. Many states requires you file on local level COUNTY CLERK .

      TEXAS DOES NOT REQUIRE U HAVE DBA UNLESS YOU ARE A LLC . AND THESE are not done with Normal DBA at county level such as with solo business owne. California is one of those register in county level states.

      But form 503 Assumed name Certificate is specifically for LLC to have DBA filed with Secretary of State and is noy required you do county levels. This form also does not require to be motorized. And this form when returned stamped should satisfy bank. You can have several DBA/ Assumed named certificates for one LLC. No need to file news paper article to make legit.

      If you file assumed name certificate /DBA for solo or for LLC at county level u need notorized and may have to take out personal add.

      Most third party do on state level. Depending in what business is and who your doing it with. You should be able to easily file alone. After reading and decivering i got someone in the phone to acknowledge or make clear my understanding. Again in in texas , but do the research. Third parties are not best way to go.
