Possible study group?
Is anyone interested in maybe working together or doing an informal study group/discussion where we could help each other and share what we’re learning?
I’m now really curious what other people have done to research the CTC process. When I started digging into Peter Hendrickson’s website and saw all of the success stories, it made me feel a lot more confident.
Unfortunately, I just read that Peter Hendrickson, who is the author of the CTC book, and his wife were both sentenced to prison and heavily fined, apparently along with other people who have filed returns using his book. The link at the bottom also mentions multiple fines in court for frivilous returns.
Has anyone else read this?! I was feeling pretty scared, which has happened throughout the trust process. But moreso lately while I’ve been starting to operate in the trust, actually understand what I’m doing, and make sure I’m doing it the right way. I don’t have a good support network at all right now, but the people in here are probably the only ones I’d be able to talk about these things with anyway.
I am so thankful for all of the info and support TFP provides – especially how they advocate for us to educate ourselves and then take action based on our own judgment. This CTC course goes into detail about standing in our own power, doing our own research, making sure we understand vs relying on other people, and not letting fear control our actions.
This is one thing I came across that seems to go against a basic premise we’re making – please let me know if I’m not reading this right or how you’re reading it:
[Among other things, the judge rejected Hendrickson’s challenges to the instructions given to the jury on the meanings of “wages” and “employee,” the court stating that Hendrickson “was not entitled to jury instructions reflecting his own views as to the purported meanings of the terms ‘wages’ and ’employee’ under the Internal Revenue Code” because “the courts have uniformly held that the ordinary remuneration received by privately employed workers qualifies as taxable ‘wages’ under the Internal Revenue Code.”]I plan to keep reading and learning and develop a much better understanding of all this (taxes, trusts, everything!), and I would love to connect with other people who want to do the same. I’m just posting in the CTC group for now because it relates, but I’m not sure if anyone will see this.
http://tpgurus.wikidot.com/printer–friendly/peter-hendrickson – This site has a lot of info, not sure if it’s all vetted, but there’s a decent amount online.

Hi Kara, A study group sounds like a good Idea. As far as the Henderson case from 2007-2011, I think you are referring to, is the order issued by a corrupt Judge Edmunds. You will find the whole story including the (4) who caved here:

The way I look at it The Henderson’s showed us the way. I think we need to be prepared for what might be coming our way. I’ll post a link on the Frivolous Return Program on my thread.

@Reuel Thanks Don! We’re thinking of doing a group on telegram, let me know if that would work for you. Feel free to message me too if that’s easier

yes I saw this too Kara, would be curious what The Freedom people think of that, the CTC course makes 100% sense to me, but like you I don’t want to heavily fined or in prison lol

@infojoelevancoaching-com no prison would be the ideal lol… I just quickly read through a few legal breakdowns of a few cases that didn’t seem that positive, but seems like there were a good number of civil and criminal cases where it didn’t work out. Peter served two different sentences. We’re planning to start a telegram group if you’re interested feel free to DM your profile (if they have DMs on here 🙂

I would like to join the group. I just signed up for the Cracking the Code course. I have been studying and researching on my own and am ready to dive in to the course.
