Who can join a PMA?
Members are individuals who choose to join by signing the association’s membership agreement. Because the relationship is built on a personal, voluntary contract, a PMA’s members are people, not corporations or other businesses.

Why does the membership agreement matter so much?
It’s the foundation of the whole structure. The agreement is what makes someone a member, and it sets out what each side has agreed to. If products or services go to people who never signed one, that activity looks public, not private. Getting the agreement signed first, every time, is the most important habit a PMA can build.
