Originally from Tennessee, currently living in Colorado, I am a U.S. Army veteran and mental health counselor, by training (M.Ed. in Community Counseling, plus 10 years of clinical experience). I also have significant experience in the field of education. as a substitute teacher (K-12th), undergraduate English/psychology instructor, and as an academic coach for learning challenged college students. In addition, I ran my own wedding business for 5 years, in which I provided ceremony planning and officiant services for engaged couples. I moved to Denver, Colorado in 2019 (where there was a booming job market at the time) to pursue new career opportunities, only to have all my prospects here dashed with the “covid lockdowns” of March, 2020.Staunchly anti-communist, I watched with amazement as the once great city of Denver fell to BLM/Antifa thugs, and was run out of the city for refusing to wear a mask/face covering. Effectively stranded by this point in a strange and increasingly dangerous state where I had no allies and no income, I relocated to rural Southern Colorado in August, 2020, from where I have continued a nationwide job search, while intensively engaged in trying to find my “tribe” and a community of free people who honor basic human rights. So far, I have no success on either front (virtually zero employment opportunities in this brutally restrictive state in which any settings I might be hired for require the shame muzzle and bioweapon) but with my housing support here now in jeopardy, it is vitally urgent that I find an answer to my work/income/freedom dilemma. I am in excellent health and have no criminal record. I have a car and am willing to relocate anywhere in the U.S. for the right opportunity. I am open to working in any field where my skills might effectively transfer. Technology, however, is not one of my strengths, so I’m not interested in online-based sales/customer service-type jobs. Ideally, I would like to find a live-in position where my housing is included, but beyond that, all options are on the table for me.
