Welcome to the Center for Autodidact Services and Support (CASAS). An autodidact is someone who is self-taught or self-educated. Our goal is to cultivate a lifelong love of learning which is the foundation for being an autodidact.
As Peaceful Worldschoolers, we believe that the world is our biggest and best classroom, and the people and places in it are our greatest teachers. We also believe that children learn best when they are having fun and doing what they love!
We are the educational component of PAX Ministries PMA run by Angela Harders, certified Spanish, ESOL, and special education teacher and unschooling/gentle parenting author and advocate.
We plan mask-free opportunities to live and learn in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia area for kids ages 5-17. Angela also provides additional services such as:
