Hello. I live in Lucas County, NW Ohio and do not want a smart WATER meter installed on my home. Ohio already has opt out remedy for ELECTRIC meters, but not water meters. The utility (City of Toledo) is threatening water shut off for “non-compliance”. I’d like to connect with other folks on this topic. I can share my findings on statutes so far. To date, I’ve filed a Notice of Liability (NOL) via the InPower Movement NOL creator. Another local and I are serving as witnesses for each other and sent our NOLs on the same day (sent April 8, 2024). However, I’ve had folks in EMF opt-out groups tell me this approach won’t work and could get me in trouble. I am investigating all avenues including working with local officials. I’m not interested in creating drama or controversy. I’m being respectful and polite. I simply want to decline any advanced meters and keep my analog water meter.
