CRACKING THE CODE GROUP SUPPORT 4 months agoUS Green Card Holder - Successful Amendment?
My wife and I are getting close to sending in our amended documents (1040x) for the previous 3 years (2022,2023,2024). I am born in America, but my wife legally obtained a green card in March of 2024, is there anything that I need to know before sending our amendments in since she is not a US born citizen? Thank you.

CRACKING THE CODE GROUP SUPPORT 4 months agoWhen submitting 1040’s for past tax years, i.e. a 2023 W-2, do I need to use the IRS’s 2023 1040 Form, or can I use the current 1040 the IRS provides?

Actually, you want to use the IRS form 1040X. It has a place at the top to fill in the year of the return.

Thank you, I wasn’t far enough into the videos before asking that question. I see that now.

CRACKING THE CODE GROUP SUPPORT 4 months agoHow to Handle Crypto 1099-DA
Howdy All,
I’m almost done with this year’s 1040 for 2025 following the CTC process. I just got an email about a crypto transaction I forgot about. How do we handle the 1099-DA for the 1040? I made $29. Do I add it to the Jurat Rebuttal and just zero out the gains like the 1099-INT?

CRACKING THE CODE GROUP SUPPORT 4 months agoStocks and Crypto
Hi friends,
I completed the CTC course this time last year, received a big refund check plus interest and paid $0 last year. We’re at that time again this year where I would love to just send NOTHING and have the IRS forget I exist. However, this year they are going to receive more 1099-INT’s from banking institutions with my sole prop’s EIN…

Love hearing these stories! I will be completing the CTC course and plan to file in the next few weeks. I do also have lots of Crypto transactions and would be interested in hearing more about those recommendations. Thanks!

I don’t know of an official answer yet, but I asked a related question on the February group call if you weren’t on it, there should be a recording posted.

CRACKING THE CODE GROUP SUPPORT 4 months agoPossible study group?
Is anyone interested in maybe working together or doing an informal study group/discussion where we could help each other and share what we’re learning?
I’m now really curious what other people have done to research the CTC process. When I started digging into Peter Hendrickson’s website and saw all of the success stories, it made me feel a…

Hi Kara, A study group sounds like a good Idea. As far as the Henderson case from 2007-2011, I think you are referring to, is the order issued by a corrupt Judge Edmunds. You will find the whole story including the (4) who caved here:
https://www.losthorizons.com/lawsuit.htm
The way I look at it The Henderson’s showed us the way. I think we need…

CRACKING THE CODE GROUP SUPPORT 4 months agoFrivolous Return Program
I’ve been waiting for a long time to hear from the IRS concerning my admended return for 2022,2023. Today I received a letter thanking me for my inquiry and they were sending my inquiry to the Frivolous Return Program, and they will be contacting me within 60 days.
Has anyone else received a letter like this? I don’t know if I should wait the…

I’ll be curious to hear what the response is, another group I belong to that talks a lot about using Equity to discharge things said members have gotten this notice and they simply Accepted and returned the notice and never heard back, so I”m guessing this is just a standard thing they send but I dont’ know,..

Hey Don, one idea if you don’t hear anything about this is to try the website of the guy who wrote the CTC book. He posts examples of people’s success stories and correspondence, if there was any, that may be helpful to look at. I’m pretty sure I saw some that got a similar letter about frivilous returns.

CRACKING THE CODE GROUP SUPPORT 4 months agoGretting people . I heard jeff mention a letter to send to IRS after doing CTC CAn someone kindly let me know were that may be ? Also , perhaps some strategy or insight into my situation — In august I sent out amendments. IRS account shows they have two of the recent ones but the third 2022 is not posted, but assuming they have. I took…

Hi Carlos, I began the same process with my husband and I last March (2025) and we are still waiting. Multiple letters have been sent back and forth. It is quite frustrating. We received one return out of 6, so there is hope 🙏

If you go to the CTC Tax Course page, you’ll see a new lesson called Live Q&A Recording. Go there to watch the call recording we did last night. It was a good one. The questions were great and we covered most if not all that I can think of surrounding this process. Good luck to everyone and get your…
